I've often shied away from using copper red glaze in reduction even though its deep red colors are beautiful. This glaze is very runny which makes it more risky to drip glaze down to the kiln shelf. You can see how the glaze pulls away from upper edges and makes it way down concentrating at the base of the mug. One drip of the glaze did hit the kiln shelf, which you can see in the lower right photo.
I decided to use the copper red glaze for this mug because the clay body Babu porcelain is a beautifully white clay that will result in an even more rich red result in the glaze.
