After my obsession with perfecting the cappuccino-shape mug, I began making wine-glass shapes. I probably made over 30 of these before I finally found a balanced proportion of size and curves. This shape is more challenging to make and trim. The glaze combo here is one of my favorite. Rutile pink on its own can be flat, but when it crosses over other glazes, it can create a highlighting effect. On matte white, rutile pink creates a pattern of blue waves.
