This was one of my FAVORITE glaze combinations when I was making pottery at Bellevue college. I dipped the top half of the outside with egg shell white glaze, then I dipped the entire outside with a glaze called Hands Full of Earth I noticed that this "dripping" effect of glaze occurs more in mid fire than in high fire. Most likely this is because mid fire is a lower temperature so the glaze doesn't melt as much as it does in high fire where glazes running all the way down to the kiln shelf becomes an issue.
Firing: Midfire oxidation
Clay: Bmix
