I love the speckles that some clays produce in a glaze fire. The high concentration of large iron particles cause this. Outside is transparent glaze, and inside has a matte glaze called million $ yellow. The pink shadow in the first photo was unintentional, but turned out to be a pleasant surprise. This pink is caused by copper vaporizing from the glaze of another piece.
Firing: Reduction high fire
Clay: Tuff Buff
