This glaze result was actually an accident. I meant to put this on the oxidation glaze firing shelf but accidentally placed it on the reduction shelf. Many glazes create completely different colors when fired in oxidation verses reduction. Oxidation tends to result in brighter colors while reduction create darker and earthier colors.
The combination here uses three glazes which are sandy's green, sea green, and matte turquoise. Had this been fired in oxidation, there would be no purple and red colors, but all greens, teals, and blues.
