Million $ yellow is the only high fire glaze I've used that creates this vibrant yellow. Depending on the thickness of the glaze, it can range from toasty brown to bright yellow. The inside of this mug is glazed with a transparent amber glaze.
I used wax resist to paint the moon and sun before dipping the mug in glaze.
