about mug 51

I wanted to try to make a mug that had more bare clay on the outside because I'm wondering if it will help the surface feel less hot to hold when there is hot liquid inside. I noticed that when I hold the bottom of my mugs they feel less hot where there isn't glaze. So, I was wondering if it's because glaze is more dense than the raw clay and might affect the heat transfer rate.

Firing: Reduction high fire
