About mug 4

This was one of the first mugs I made when I finally felt confident attaching handles on mugs. There's many ways to make handles including hand-rolling coils, cutting a slab, or pulling by hand from a ball of clay, which is usually the more challenging method. I like to hand-pull mine because this creates a naturally soft edge. The key to ensuring a strong attachment of handles to the clay body is the contact and a slow drying rate.
